Snow!

There is quite a bit of snow at my Dad's house in Michigan so Clarita got to have her first experience with snow. I bought her some snow clothes right before we left and got the next size up hoping that they would last for a little while in case it ever decides to snow again at home. Since she's tiny to begin with, this meant that the clothes were HUGE on her! It took forever to get her into the clothes and she didn't think it was very fun. The best part is that I did not notice that the boots happened to be two different sizes, both left foot! Needless to say they did not work. Good thing she can't walk yet!

I can't move!

Clara wasn't sure about the snow at first. She just sat there unable to move very much due to the clothes and looked at it. After a while she started to get interested in the snow and even started touching it. Her gloves were impossible to get on so Peggy's sister, Lori, gave her some of hers to use. It made Clara look like a snow man with giant gloves but actually worked pretty well. Clara eventually started grabbing the snow and laughing when it moved. Kevin pushed her around on a snow disk and she thought that was pretty fun.

My dad, Kevin, Clarita, and I were outside for about an hour and Clara was wide eyed taking it all in! She and I had fun swinging on a little swing and she really liked playing with a tree branch. Kevin even gave Clara some little pieces of snow and she ate them up. Later on it snowed and Kevin took her outside. She was enthralled by the falling snow and smiled and laughed at it. I think that her first snow experience was pretty fun!
