It's Not a Party Without a Bounce House!

Clarita believes that all birthday parties should have cake, ice cream, and a bounce house. Not many (including her own) supply all three requirements. Luckily she'll settle for two out of the three. We celebrated Lyla's birthday party the last weekend in May and it had a bounce house and cake and Clara was super excited. When we got the invitation I asked her if she wanted to go and she asked if there would be a bounce house. When I found out there would she talked nonstop about how she was going to bounce with Lyla, Reedcito, and Bailey!

"Lyla you want to play with Clara?

Chelsea and Drew outdid themselves and the party was awesome! There was a taco bar, giant gold balloons, cupcakes, and a bounce house with a slide! It was very hot that day so it turned into a pool party which Clara thought was great. They also had a professional photographer so most of these pictures are hers (and all of the really good ones are) http://www.kelliavilaphotography.com/. Clara bounced until her little face was pink and she was all sweaty. She requested water numerous times but didn't want to stop bouncing! She was also obsessed with Lyla and wanted to play with her. She demanded (in typical bossy Clara style) that Lyla ride the toy bus with her, go in the wagon with her, and play with her in general. It was cute that she was so enamored with Lyla even if she was very bossy in her requests for Lyla to play with her. Luckily Lyla is super easy going and went along with Clara's requests.

It was a great evening filled with tons of cute kids and good friends! Connor tried to put the moves on all of the little ladies. Clara pushes him away and tells him no so he moved on to the tiny ones, Bailey and Eli. At one point he hugged them both at the same time and it was unbelievably cute! We're so lucky that so many of our friends have kids so close in age. It's great watching them all grow up together!

Yay cake!
