This year started out with some awesome, early snow in November! Unfortunately, it didn't snow a ton after that until right before COVID hit and then the ski resort had to close. We were lucky that we got in a few good trips before they shut down. Emmett and Dada even went on their own once because the little guys loves to ski. Dada may have finally found his skiing partner! Clara worked on her turns and also discovered she likes going off jumps! Emmett only wanted to go fast and literally strained against his leash like a little dog. Most of the time he refused to do anything except speed down the mountain as quickly as he can, but we managed to get him to follow Clara and I and do some turns occasionally. We went with Tios a couple times and Bailey got to go on the lift! She got a lot better and listens and follows directions better than my kids! I spent most of the time on my new skis with the most comfortable boots in the world, but managed to get in a little bit of snowboarding. One day we sent the kids to daycare and took the day off to go boarding. We literally pretended we were going to work and changed after dropping them off so they wouldn't get mad! Of course it snowed more than ever mid March through the end of April and we were so sad that we couldn't get up there. Next year...
