Snow Day!

Since it has actually snowed this year (hallelujah!), we decided to head up to the cabin to play in the snow for the day. We met los Tios and Bailey, Aba, and Grandma Donna up there and had a lot of fun playing in the snow. There was a decent amount and we sledded (Aba even went for a ride), made snowmen, threw snowballs, and rolled around. Clara was obsessed with eating snow and was constantly laying on her stomach eating mouthfuls. She also had fun "skiing" around with Dada. Bayleaf loved sledding and kept requesting more each time she finished. Emmett loved everything as he normally does. He had fun sledding, but was also content to sit with Aba and watch everyone play. It was Emmett's and Bayleaf's first time in the snow and it's safe to say that they loved it! While looking at pictures, I realized that we had also gone to the cabin to play in the snow last year on January 3 so it's fun to compare snow pictures exactly a year apart!

Tia is so strong!

Tia brought lots of yummy food for lunch and we took turns eating and shoveling snow off the deck. Luckily, with the four of us combined, (we gave the grandmas a pass) it didn't take too long to get all of the snow off. Then we hit up sledding for round two and Clarita ate some more snow. We decided that it is a lot of work taking little ones to the snow and it seemed like we spent as much time getting them ready as we did playing in the snow. It was a fun day and we can't wait to go back!
