Tia and I have been saying forever that we need to get Bailey and Emmett baptized, but have just never gotten around to planning it. Luckily Pastor Doris put us on the spot and basically made us choose a date. We decided to do a joint baptism on August 6, 2017. Tio Robert and Tia Erika were chosen as Emmett's godparents and Dada and I are Bailey's godparents. We were lucky to have the majority of our family and some great friends there to support our kids.
Since both kids are much older than the traditional baby who gets baptized we weren't sure how it would go. Turns out they both did great and did not mind getting water poured on them. Emmett even laughed! It really could not have gone more perfectly and everyone was so happy to welcome them into our church family!
We tried to get some pictures after church, but it was quite difficult to get them to stand still!

We had a lovely lunch at los Tios after church where the kids were spoiled with baptism presents and Aba surprised us all with cross necklaces for all three kids that belonged to her mom, Grandma Jane!
