Emmett is pretty obsessed with dinosaurs so we decided to have a dinosaur themed second birthday party. Clarita tried to convince him to have a dragon themed party but he wasn't having it! I finally figured out how to use my Cricut (after nearly six years) and made invitations and some dinosaur decorations (that doubled as thank you cards - best idea ever). I kept it pretty simple because he's two and doesn't care and I don't have much spare time. We had dinosaurs that the kids could "adopt" which were a hit and definitely got played with a lot, cupcakes with dinosaur sprinkles, hot dogs, salad, and snacks. Emmett licked the frosting off his big cupcake then requested a smaller one and ate nearly the entire thing! I think Clara had four cupcakes and two juice boxes (she said it was her luckiest day ever!).

The kids had a ton of fun playing, swimming, and just being crazy and it although it was super hot, it was the perfect day for our little guy.
Emmett had a great time and if you ask him about his party he says, "Dino!" with the biggest smile! He got tons of dinosaur themed presents and is in heaven! He was pretty excited about opening them, but still little enough to accept help from the other kids. It was a great day celebrating our favorite little guy with some of our favorite people!
