Tia watched the kids during Spring Break while los Abuelos were out of town. They had a busy day complete with the park, McDonalds, learning about bugs, and crafts!
We had fun painting Easter eggs. I forgot to buy a kit so I looked up homemade dye. Turns out it is so simple and just involves boiling water, vinegar, and food coloring. I can't believe I never did it before!
We had our annual Friendster at the park. It was during a super hectic time for both Bri and I and we both felt like chickens with our heads cut off, but we got it together and the kids had a great time! I had honestly considered not doing it because I was so busy but Clara kept asking me about it and talking about how fun it was. I'm glad we did it. As always, Drew was the kid whisperer and managed to get all the kids organized for a picture!
Since Abuelos were out of town, Dada and I took turns staying home to watch the kids. Tia, Aba, and I took the kids to Imagine U one day and had a blast. Elise is finally big enough to enjoy it and the big kids can do pretty much everything without help now!
The McClarty's couldn't make it to one of the Fresno Foxes games so they gave us their tickets. The kids loved the new play area and the Dippin' Dots more than the game, but they did actually pay attention to some of it. Emmett is excited that he gets to play soccer this year so he was watching for pointers!
