Tristan's 10th Birthday Party

After our weekend in the mountains, we headed back to the Valley to celebrate Tristan's 10th birthday. His party was Pokemon themed and held at a local bowling alley. Tristan and his friends had fun bowling and playing video games and Clarita and Teegee had fun bowling and running around crazy! The rest of us enjoyed bowling, food, and family. Emmett slept for most of the event, only waking up to nurse before going back to sleep! Clara only had an hour nap on the way home from the cabin and turned into a bit of a terror for a while. She was obsessed with eating cake and wanted to eat it right away. I told her that she had to wait until it was time to sing, after bowling and dinner, but she just couldn't quite deal with this. Teegee had a cupcake eraser that she got out of a gumball machine and Clara wanted one too. I explained to her that I could not guarantee that she would get a cupcake as there were lots of different food items and she said she understood, however when a milk carton eraser came out she lost it. Clarita kept crying until she "tasted" Teegee's eraser and realized that it was not real cake. Then she was content to play with her toy and run around. It was a fun day celebrating Tristan and we can't believe he's already 10...where did the time go?
