I still find it hard to believe that Emily graduated from high school. I still remember the day she was born and visiting Kate and Josh in the hospital to meet her right before I left for college. It's been so much fun watching her grow into the sweet, smart, funny, and of course super athletic young lady that she is now! We've had so much fun watching her compete in various sporting events, give Clara swim lessons, and play with our kids. She really is an amazing girl and I have no doubt that she will do great things at Cal Poly!
We didn't go to Emily's graduation, but I stole some pictures from Kate. Leading up to the graduation we watched her compete in her last high school swim meet at the Valley championship where she competed in four events. She was also chosen for female athlete of the year which is quite an accomplishment!
Her graduation party was a blast and Clara, of course, brought her Shopkins to play with Sophie. I did not bring swimsuits which turned out to be quite the disaster as both kids really wanted to swim. Clara ended up in the pool in her panties and Emmett borrowed a swim diaper from Kate's niece after completely soaking his clothes and got to swim too. Clara was in heaven playing with the big girls and got a little jealous when Sophie played with someone else instead of her. It was a perfect afternoon celebrating one of our favorites. I can't wait to see what is in store for her as she starts the next chapter of her life!
