Goodbye 2018, Hello 2019!

New Year's Eve day was extra fun because Dada didn't have to work and took the kids to an indoor play place. They got donuts and then played for several hours. Followed by lunch at Chipotle made it the most fun morning possible!

As is tradition, we spent New Year's Eve at the McClarty's surrounded by the chaos of a billion kids! There was tons of delicious food, glow sticks, dancing, party packs, 0 to 60, our annual watching of videos made in high school and college, crying, laughing, screaming, and so much fun! As the kids were having their annual glow stick dance party which involves throwing glow sticks in the air while they dance, I realized just how lucky we all are to have so many awesome people we love that are in this crazy parenting adventure with us! It was a great way to end a great year!

We had our families over for our annual New Year's Day breakfast for aebleskivers. Tia Alyssa and Tio Rene were out of town so Tristan and Teagan came for the first time with los Abuelos much to Clara and Emmett's delight! We enjoyed delicious food and great company before taking down the Christmas decorations.

After naps we headed to Tios' family for their annual New Year celebration. We stuffed ourselves and caught up with people we don't get to see often enough. The kids had a great time playing with Jackson (especially since he let them watch shows on his tablet). We're excited to see what 2019 has in store for us!
