Emmett's First Fair

We go to the Fresno Fair each year and always look forward to it! This year we decided to go during the day instead of at night like we generally do. Since Dada has been going to work at 3:30 AM and working until 6:00 PM, he decided to head out early at 10:00 AM one day in order to hit the fair. It had rained in the morning and was hot and humid, but we still had fun! Tia happened to be there with her class on a field trip and the McClartys were also there which was an added bonus.

Clarita enjoyed the animals, the Egypt exhibit, and especially sitting on the foot massagers (she insisted on sitting on ALL of them). Emmett slept through the majority of the trip and woke up in time for cinnamon rolls (which Clara refused to eat) and the ag exhibit. Unfortunately Clara was over tired at that point and full of tantrums. At one point she threw herself on the floor screaming and only got up when I told her how dirty it was. She bargained with me to have Dada carry Baby Emmett to the car so I could carry her in the carrier. Luckily she decided after five minutes that she was uncomfortable and got out. We had a good time and can't wait until the fair returns next year!
